Belgrade city council agenda for September 15


The Belgrade city council meets in regular session at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 15 at the city hall meeting room. It is open to the public. The meeting agenda summary is posted below.


1. Consent agenda: this includes accounts payable matters for the city of Belgrade, Myrtle Mabee Library plus a lawful charitable gambling application for the B-B-E Wrestling Club for a raffle at The Spot on January 26, 2026.
2. Public forum.
3. Belgrade Fire Department: SEH agreement for professional services for the fire hall project; Fire Prevention Week Open House on Saturday, October 4 at the fire hall from 10 a.m. to noon; leave of absence for a fire department member.
4. Belgrade Public Works: quotes for generators, public works employee review, mower replacement with quotes pending.
5. Belgrade Library: furnace update.
6. Zoning: Belgrade Co-op application to rezone 536 Main Street, 201 Borgerding and 206 Oswald from residential to Light Industry/Warehouse; request from Belgrade Co-op to combine parcels at 520 Morrison Street to one parcel and all parcels at the 1040 U.S. Hwy. 71 address to one; land use application for Belgrade Co-op to install a 5th 30,000-gallon propane tank at the 1040 U.S. Hwy. 71 property.
7. Playground equipment: quotes for playground equipment.
8. Belgrade Economic Development Authority.
9. Discussion and other business: Resolution 2025-11, setting the proposed levy for taxes collectible in 2026; and Resolution 2025-12, stating calendar year 2025 council members designation.
10. Next meetings: regular city council meeting on Monday, October 20 at 6 p.m.; and special city council meeting on Monday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Belgrade Fire Hall with local townships.
