Belgrade city council agenda for January 16
The Belgrade city council meets tonight, Tuesday, January 16 in regular session at 7 p.m. at the city hall meeting chambers.
The agenda is as follows:
Fire Department: discussion of a FEMA grant.
Public Works.
Zoning: a land use application from Belgrade Steel Tank to demo the old church, home and garage at 100 and 111 Walker Street.
Economic Development Authority.
Other matters include the December financials and expenditures with assigned funds, Resolution 2024-09 (a standard resolution regarding fund transfers), bills and transfers and the minutes from the January 2, 2024 meeting.

Belgrade city council meets on November 20
The Belgrade city council will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 20 in regular session. They will consider a Dooley’s Natural Gas annual reconciliation and also other issues such as a gambling permit for the Belgrade Commercial Club, garbage assessments and an update to the 2024 budget proposal.
The state's new Earned Sick and Safety Time program that goes into effect on January 1, 2024 for city employees and fire fighters / first responders will also be reviewed.
