Belgrade city council agenda


The Belgrade City Council will meet in regular session tonight, Monday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at the municipal hall community room. The agenda will be posted this afternoon to this blog post.

The next Police Board meeting is Wednesday, July 19 at 6 p.m. at the Brooten city hall.

July 17 Belgrade city council meeting agenda:
1. Fire Department report
2. Public works report: road closed map for August Fest activities; and quotes for restraining and painting curbs.
3. Storm damage and clean-up.
4. Zoning matters: land use application for Tyler Walstrom at 500 Martin Avenue; land use application for Jeremy Gilbert at 500 Borgerding Avenue to build a 26’ x 30’ garage; and proposed new fees for land use applications for Trees and Bushes, Residential and Commercial, plus an increase of fees for all zoning amendments that require a public hearing from $200 to $300.
5. August Fest requests: donation request from Belgrade Ambassadors; Belgrade V.F.W. and The Spot for Drinks and Dining.
6. Big Grove-Crow River-Grace Lutheran Parish office lease annual review.
7. Myrtle Mabee Library Board; new by-laws and a new mail box for mail and invoicing.
8. City apartments: garnishment and collection.
9. Belgrade Museum report.
10. Belgrade Economic Development Authority report.
11. June financials and expenditures; the solar Certificate of Deposit matures on July 31, 2023.
12. Next meeting: Monday, August 21 at 7 p.m.
13. Citizen complaints: health nuisance and excessive dog barking.
